We seem to have been let off quite lightly recently - but earlier in December we had a fair share of snow - so much in fact that the Library closed for only the second time in 30 years. The first time was way back in January 2010!

Just in case you do not know, the British Library Boston Spa site is located near Wetherby - West Yorkshire - Although the roads are good, there are not as many regular buses and no rail connections like the St Pancras site. Being semi rural we were in danger of getting stuck.

At the time of writing (19/12/2010) we do not have any snow (just remnants of the last fall).  It is very cold and frosty and the sun is shining.  More snow is possible tomorrow - we shall see. As intimated there are various photos in the gallery.
